IPhone XS: iPhone XS review in english

Apple has introduced three new iPhones, called the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR yesterday, i.e., on September 13. Like the past few years, Apple has introduced iPhones with a big screen for people who love phablet.

 However this time it is not being called a plus variant. Instead, Tech’s giants named it the iPhone XS Max because it has the largest screen ever seen on the iPhone. Let’s compare the iPhone XS Max with the iPhone 8 Plus last year and see what new features have been introduced in it.

Price and availability

The iPhone 8 Plus, which was launched last year, is currently coming with a 64 GB storage variant at a price of Rs 69,900.

 The iPhone has also been introduced in 256 GB of high-storage variants, priced at Rs 84,900. Interested people can buy iPhone 8 Plus via both offline and online channels.

On the other hand, the iPhone XS Max 64 GB base variant makes its place as the most premium smartphone in Apple’s smartphones with an initial price of Rs 1,09,900.

There are also 256 GB and two other storage variants of 512 GB, which are priced at Rs 1,24,900 and Rs 1,44,900. iPhone XS will come on sale from September 28 through offline and online stores.

Display and design

The display is one of the main areas where the most change has been made. The iPhone 8 Plus has a 5.5-inch LCD retina display, which comes with 1920 x 1080 pixel full HD resolution and 401ppi pixel density.

On the other hand, the iPhone comes with XS Nach display, but it comes with a 6.5-inch OLED screen called Apple Super Retina Display. It has 2688 x 1242 pixels resolution and 458 ppi pixel density. Also, it also supports HDR.

iPhone XS Max’s Bezel equipped and came with the Nokia Display makes it a bit bigger to see even after its dimensions like iPhone 8 Plus. There is no home button yet on the new iPhone. Although both phones have a similar design in which fusion of metal and glass is done. Both of these smartphones are also available in the same colour option as Silver Black and Gold.

The camera

Both come with iPhone Dual Back Camera Setup, which has two 12 megapixel sensors that come with the combination of a wide angle and telephoto lens. However, given the iPhone XS Max, the telephoto lens comes with F / 2.4 aperture compared to the iPhone 8 Plus’s F / 2.8.

 Apart from this, the camera also has Dual Optical Image Stabilization and Smart HDR mode, which does not come with iPhone 8 Plus.

Something similar is also with the front camera. Both iPhones have the same 7-megapixel camera that comes with F / 2.2 aperture, but the iPhone XS Max wins it due to a software-related feature. iPhone XS Max’s front camera includes SmartRDR with Portrait mode and Advance Bokay style. It comes with the support of an emoji and emoji.


Hardware and security

The iPhone 8 Plus is powered by the previous year’s A11 Bionic chip, while the iPhone XS Max comes with the newly introduced A12 bionic chip. Both chipsets are called Powerful, but the latest processor takes up the position of Apple’s first processor at the base of 7 nm fabrication process.

 It also has an advanced 8-core neural engine, which helps in the application of machine learning to run 9x faster than the previous version. Overall, the new chipset opens the app by 30 per cent more quickly.

In the case of security, the iPhone 8 comes with Max Home button, which works like a fingerprint sensor. It can also be used to unlock the online device as well as for online payment.

 iPhone XS Max does not have a fingerprint sensor, but it comes with Apple’s Face ID technology that can be used to unlock and pay authentication for the same phone.

Battery, connectivity and Os

Apple has not provided any information about iPhone’s battery capacity at the moment, but both phones support Fast Charging and QE Wireless Charging.
Connectivity options are also the same, including Wi-Fi SE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS and VoLTE. iPhone XS Max supports Dual SIM via E-SIM technology. iPhone XS Max iOS 12 out-of-box is coming. iPhone 8 Plus will get OS updates on September 17.
